He first appears while walking home with Yōto who is complaining about becoming the next president of the track and field club. Then Ponta offers Yōto his pornographic DVDs and adult comics for 100 yen so he can donate 40 liters of water to third world countries. He then tells Yōto about the Stony Cat that granted his wish to remove his impure thoughts.
He appears again when Yōto calls him because of his house's disappearance, but Ponta does not believe him. At the time, he is collecting money for homeless African children.
